Three systems we built, and how they work

E-commerce platform and AI shipping operations

Purring Lotus is an e‑commerce business, and we built the platform it runs on with AI-assisted engineering throughout: the shop, an operations center for SKUs, inventory and shipping, and The Pause, its online magazine.

The AI-powered part is shipping: AI extracts rates from courier PDFs, and the system combines them with product weights, margins and other business data into rate bands for each courier, market and product weight, pushed to Shopify. A complicated operational process becomes much easier to manage.

Infralyst

Automated AWS cost optimization

Infralyst is a live product that finds savings in a company's AWS accounts: it reads real utilization data through a read-only role and measures it against conservative, documented thresholds.

When a user picks a recommendation, an AI agent reads their Terraform repository, writes the change, and opens a pull request that their team reviews and merges like any other change. Infralyst never changes infrastructure directly.

Our practical AI experience also includes AI-assisted engineering workflows that significantly accelerate delivery, and AI for research and operational workflows such as international shipping, taxes, duties, and landed-cost calculations. The workflow we use to build software with AI coding agents is open source as Sprengikraftur, and we teach it at PO2 Academy.

What does Saankofi do?

We help businesses figure out how to use AI, and put it to work. We are an AI and software engineering consultancy that focuses on practical uses of AI that solve real business problems: finding the opportunities, building or implementing the solution, and helping your team use AI effectively.

Do we have to start with consulting?

No. AI consulting can be a standalone advisory engagement, but it isn't a mandatory discovery package you have to buy first. These are flexible entry points, not compulsory stages: start with advice if you need direction, hire us to deliver if you have a clear implementation need, or bring us in to help your existing team.

Will you build what you recommend?

Yes. We are equipped to deliver what we recommend, and AI implementation and delivery is the center of what we do: we take responsibility for turning an opportunity into something usable, whether that means configuring existing tools, connecting systems, changing a workflow or developing custom software.

Can you take an AI-built prototype to production?

Yes. Prototype to production is one of our delivery capabilities: we get existing or AI-built software ready for real use, addressing source control, automated testing, security, architecture, deployment pipelines, environments and integrations as needed.

Does the software you build have to use AI?

No. We use AI to build products, internal tools and integrations efficiently, but the finished software does not need to contain AI itself. We use AI where it makes sense, and conventional software where that is more appropriate.

Do you train teams and help with hiring?

Yes. Our training is part of the work itself, often within a consulting or delivery engagement: we work alongside your team on real delivery, train business teams around their own work, and help engineering teams deliver software more efficiently using AI. We also help you work out what capabilities you need internally, how to structure roles, what to look for when hiring, and how to develop existing staff.

Do you run workshops?

Yes, through PO2 Academy, which we co-run: hands-on workshops, open to anyone or run privately for your company, and an assessment of how your team builds with AI. For more than a workshop, we tailor training to your team's tools and work.

How do engagements work?

We can deliver the work for you, work alongside your team, or help you build the capability to do it in-house. Delivery can extend into support and continued improvement; it does not have to end at launch.
